|The PHOTONIS Gamma Ionization Chambers are designed to measure gamma radiation in nuclear power plants, reprocessing plants and from 60Co sources. The gas type and pressure are determined by the required sensitivity, depending on the application.
PHOTONIS Gamma Ionization Chambers operate in Curent mode to measure the mean of the direct current from the detector. Depending on the application, maximum operating temperatures can range from 80°C to 400°C. Metallic filters are designed into the detector to compensate for the energy spectrum.
