This year's Night Vision Conference will be held in Washington (USA) from September 30 - October 1.

The Night Vision Conference has been expanded to encompass the full range of Electro-Optical Systems (EOS), in recognition of the rapidly growing array of image intensifiers, thermal imagers, and laser systems being used by the military, security services and rescue organisations around the globe. For some time, mission commanders have enjoyed the freedom to operate during the night. But friendly forces are seeking more, in order to retain the edge in today?s fast-moving and uncertain operational environments. The 2009 Shephard NV and EOS conference will build on the 2008 sea change, which successfully encompassed the full range of electro-optical systems (EOS) being used by the military, security services and rescue organisations around the world. In addition to updating the audience on developments in core technologies, 2009 will explore the opportunities offered by the vast array of sensors, platforms and systems available now or in the near future.
