The Streak Tube is an inverter image intensifier with electrostatic focusing capable of resolving high-speed events, both transient and recurrent) over a wide range of input wavelengths. PHOTONIS manufacturers some of the most advanced Streak Tubes on the market, providing photonic measurements down to a picoseconds across the full spectrum.  Additionally, PHOTONIS manufactures a wide variety of Streak Tubes using combinations of bilamellar electron optics, transfer technology and S1 cathodes. Together, this wide variety of choices allows PHOTONIS to create the ideal Streak Tube for your specific application.

 

PHOTONIS Streak Tubes can be ordered to perform in three modes: Streak Mode, Synchroscan Mode, and Framing Mode. A variety of tubes are available for both the visible spectrum and the X-Ray spectrum.  Additional options include screen phosphor, input window type (glass or fiber optic), screen diameter and read-out equipment.
