The LYNX CMOS Sensor is the first Homeland Security Digital Sensor based on full solid-state technology operating in both daylight and low-light level (equivalent to quarter moon). The LYNX CMOS sensor offers new to connect night vision to urban and suburban surveillance at night and to support advanced applications such as fusion of digital images such as visible (at night) and infra-red (IR).

PHOTONIS Image Intensifier tubes are electro-optical devices which electronically enhance available images. Our image intensifier tubes are based on our industry-leading microchannel plate (MCP) technologies and can be used in a variety of sensing and detection applications. A fast gating option allows the tubes to be used in the examination of moving objects, such as in high-speed manufacturing or fluorescence detection. Image Intensifier Tubes can be coupled with a variety of camera types, such as ICCD and CMOS to capture images for video or still analysis.

MCP-PMTs

The MCP-PMT Photon Detector brings together two fast photonic timing detection technologies into a single sensor. An 18mm MCP and a photocathode are used in combination with a single anode. The unit also offers magnetic resistance to ~3 Tesla, with jitter ~ 130pS FWHM.

Hybrid Photo Diodes

The PHOTONIS Hybrid Photo Diode product line incorporates products that provide an alternate technique for photon detection. The HPD amplifies an electron in a vacuum tube and bombards it onto a silicon diode. For each impact, a gain of between 2000 and 3000 is achieved. A diode array converts the signal to pixels.
